Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! Pickleball league continues despite the festivities. Here is what St. Patrick thinks of all our teams.
We all know Patrick’s favorite cereal and that is Lucky Charms. And the best of the lucky charms are the marshmallows! And the best of the marshmallows are the hearts representing life. The life of this league right now is Nacho Average Ninja Servers who remain undefeated despite being pushed to the limits the last two weeks. Their hearts have not gone mushy at all in the milk and are the perfect amount of saturated. They sit at 10-0.
In second place is an illuminating team, a team full of riches as a marshmallow. That team is Volley Llamas who are just a perfect little pot o’ gold! They climb further up the rainbow ahead of Dink Pony Club with a record of 7-3.
With a down week, Dink Pony Club has left their purple horseshoes in the milk a bit too long and fallen a bit in the bowl to third place with a record of 7-3.
A mashup of marshmallows have formed a conglomerate in the middle of the bowl. Hot Dogs in the Hallway with their shooting star speed have merged in with the Late Run Silvers and their luck of the Irish Green Hats, while Sassy Seniors have floated in like a red balloon to form this megamallow all at 4-6.
In seventh, are the pulverized oat material of Who! Their record is 3-7. But without them the marshmallows would not taste as good and the consistency of the league would be way too mushy.
And rounding it all out in 8th place is Crow and Kristi at 1-9. Although they sit at the bottom, the marshmallows and oats could not float with the important milk that makes the cereal tolerable.
