Week 4
After four weeks of pickling, things are starting to get sorted out like a group of 11 year olds who just set foot in the great hall of Hogwarts for the very first time.
Putting on the sorting hat first was Crow and Kristi! The hat barely touched their scalp when it was shouted that they be banned to depths of the Slytherin dungeons. After two losses on the night Crow and Kristi have fallen to the depths of the league at 1-7. But it’s been known that those who speak parseltongue have done great things in the past! Keep an eye on these two making some magic in the near future.
Nacho Average Ninja Servers were next up to dub the talking cap. And again, the hat was still hovering above their head when it decided they shall be put in with the brave, the most iconic of houses there are; Gryffindor. For everyone knows that the most famous and talented trio came out of that house and currently the trio of Jamie, Tekla and Reed certainly are proving to be the most talented as they fly at 8-0 atop the league.
The former Ogres, now Late Run Silvers are showing off their animagus skills as they change their animal form both in name and in people. With that, the sorting hat is still wondering whether hufflepuff was the appropriate house to put these fellas in. Who knows what form they will be in tonight, but last week they went 1-1 and apparated into 7th place at 2-6.
Dink Pony Club was sorted out next. The hat took a moment, but decided Gryffindor was the ultimate house in which they belonged. For their talents would serve well as beaters on the Gryffindor quidditch team as they smashed balls all over the court. Their smashing led to a 1-1 night and their broom plummeted them down to second place at 7-1.
Hot Dogs in the Hallway swaggered up to the hat expecting to be a Gryffindor for sure, but little did they know they’d be slithering down the hall to join the Slytherins. Dropping two games on the night, Hot Dogs are on edge of becoming death eaters as they sit in 4th at 3-5.
Sassy Seniors did not need to be sorted, for they were sitting at the teacher’s table watching the ceremony take place. A multi-talented bunch, they defended against the dark arts in the first battle, but fell to the patrificus totalus spell in game two. They ended the night in fifth at 3-5.
Volley Llamas didn’t even need to walk to the sorting hat, they just stretched their necks out and the hat fell upon them. And with a wink of its eye-fold he knew what to do. “Ravenclaw” he shouted, for their intelligent play led them to two victories on the night and kept them solidly in 3rd place. They now stand at 6-2.
Last to be sorted was Who! But the sorting had no clue what to do. Witches and wizards, these two were not. “Squibs” yelled the hat to the whole student lot. But muggles have been known to do some amazing things. 6th place for now, but they look to be kings. Who is now 2-6.
