WEEK 6

Another week of bumping, setting, and spiking has passed so here is the week 6 write up. 

Diesel Diggers vs. We Showed Up Again
These early games have been doing wonders for the Diesel Diggers. Not only has their playing improved but they have also started dancing during games and I love it! However We Showed Up Again, did what they did best and they showed up to the game. We Showed Up Again won this match in two sets but Diesel Diggers were following close behind. 

Setsy and We Know It vs. Lord Scorpion Vipers
For the first time in volleyball league history, Setsy and We Know It had not only a full team show up but they also were all on time! I don’t think I have ever been so proud of this team before. Ironically the undefeated Lord Scorpion Vipers, who have never had a problem with showing up on time, were very close to not being able to play because of lateness. Luckily the Lord Scorpion Vipers were able to hold onto their undefeated title after a two set match. 

Recking Balls vs. Mahmoodies
Before I talk about this game I would like to note that the Recking Balls almost had to forfeit again. But some players from the Lord Scorpion Vipers decided to play with them. Now did this have a factor in how the match ended, absolutely. The Mahmoodies did have one of their best matches of the season. It was an incredible match to watch. The Recking Balls walked away from this match with their first win of the season! Thanks to the Lord Scorpion Vipers’ players of course.
