Week two, Week Shmoo! That’s what some people say, I hear! We are only two weeks into a seven week season and there is a glob of teams all vying for last place. Those teams are The Ogres, Who, Sassy Seniors, Crow and Kristi and Hot Dogs in the Hallway. But that’s exactly why people call week two - week shmoo because there is so much time left for them to make their marks on the court of the AVTEC Gym! Please do not make any marks! Meanwhile there are three teams flying high looking down at the rest. Those include a not so average team that is dominating the field in the name of Nacho Average Ninja Servers, a rocking and rolling to the tunes, Dink Pony Club, and spit on the ground if you even think about looking at them the wrong way, Volley Llamas.
Forfeits have been a frequent foe for teams due to freak incidents this season. So only time will tell as to how the standings will come about. The five bottom teams all sit at 1-3 after last week's hurrah, while Nacho Average Ninja Servers have yet to taste the sour defeat of the pickle in even a single game so far and top the leaderboard. Dink Pony Club trots just behind them, undefeated in match play, but with a pair of game losses and Volley Llamas bow their long necks after losing their most recent match and dropping to third at 3-1.
