WEEK 2
Another successful week of matches has come to pass, let's talk about what happened.
Sweet Digs vs. Blockbusters
Blockbusters is still getting into the groove of things since they are new to the league, but with how this game went people should look out for this team. Sweet Digs has always been our constant powerhouse team so it was no surprise that they won this game with a smile on their faces.
Seal the Deal vs. Bumpin N Swingin
The newly renamed Bumpin N Swingin (although sometimes you’ll hear the occasional “Let’s go Uglies!”) took on last season’s champion, Seal the Deal. This was a match that challenged both offense and defense on the court, blockers were blocking and passers were passing. After a three set match Seal the Deal went home with the win.
We Bribed the Ref vs. Tony’s Bar
Here we are again playing in a match where a certain team did NOT bribe the ref, they didn’t even try to give me anything this week. The team that I shall not name took on Tony’s Bar in a match that tested both teams. After plenty of good volleys and close calls (but none were biased because I was not bribed) the match ended with a win for Tony’s!
