Monday May 25, 2026
5:45 PM - 6:45 PM    Seward Adult Softball League 2026 - E League (Recreational) Team Fee - Mondays: Seward Insurance @ Custom Creations Hammerheads
We are so excited for the 2026 Summer Softball League!Game Times: 5:45pm7:00pm8:15pmPlease Note: As you may remember, we attempted to run two leagues on Mondays and Tuesdays last year. Unfortunately, we did not have enough teams to make a second evening worth while, and combined all the teams to one league on Monday. We will attempt to run two leagues again this summer. Please pay for the league you would like your team to participate in. If we do not have enough sign-ups, we will combine all the team sign-ups for one league to take place on Mondays. Frequently Asked Questions: What is the competitive league? The D League is the more competitive league. Do I need to umpire? Every team needs a player to step forward and proactively commit to an umpire position. If a team elects to have multiple people fulfill this role, that is also acceptable. Umpires are paid $20 per game, and must submit a umpire contract and W9, both of which are available on our website. Are metal cleats allowed? Metal cleats are not permitted, but plastic cleats are welcomed to the league for use. When do I need my team signed up by? We need team fees paid for two weeks before the start of the league to ensure that SPRD administration has an appropriate amount of time to create a schedule and get everyone the needed information in a timely manner. All player fees must be paid for before the start of the league to ensure all players have filled out a SPRD Sports Disclaimer. What is the gender quota? It has to 50/50 on the field. This means 3 men and 3 women in the infield, and 2 men and 2 women in the outfield. It does not have to be 50/50 on the roster. The batting order must alternate between sexes. What is the softball manager rebate? Team manager's can pay their player fee with cash at the start of the season. If the manager communicate forfeits over 24 hours in advance, prevent any disciplinary actions for their team, and provides a reliable umpire -- they will receive their money back at the end of the season!
